Anderson Valley Volunteer Fire Fighters Association
Our purpose is to help Anderson Valley's Volunteer First Responders, in any way we can.
Anderson Valley relies on its volunteer first responders for fire fighting, emergency medical services, traffic collisions, road safety issues, public assistance, and so much more.
Through generous support of the Anderson Valley community, we offer meals for scheduled trainings and on scene of protracted emergency events.
We provide uniform shirts and hats, financial aid for fallen firefighters, and continuing education scholarships
The Anderson Valley Volunteer Firefighters Association (the Association) is established and organized for the purpose of assisting the Anderson Valley Fire Department and its members in providing emergency services to the people of Anderson Valley.
The Association provides financial support through various types of fund raising activities that may be expended for any purpose benefiting the Fire Department including the health, welfare and safety of its members and for necessary expenditures to maintain the Association.
The Association membership is committed to organizing and hosting events providing recognition and direct support to the Fire Department and its members.
Membership in the Association is open to all persons interested in working to support the Fire Department and its members.
YOU CAN HELP
Through monetary donations and/or your time, you too can help maintain this extremely vital part of Anderson Valley.
We are always in need of assistance with preparation of training meals, help securing training locations, technical support of data bases and mailing lists, creative fundraising ideas and management of fundraising events.
The AVVFFA is a 501c3 non profit organization.
Membership in the Association is open to all persons interested in working to support the Anderson Valley Fire Department and its members.
We meet at the Boonville Volunteer Fire Station on the 3rd Thursday of every month.
We invite you to join us.
